나와 가장 가까이에 있는 물건들을 관찰하고 그림을 그리기로 했습니다. 개중에 놀잇감은 육아를 하기 전엔 전혀 가지고 있지 않던 물건들이었죠. 이 조그만한 물건들은 나의 공간과 생활을 완전히 바꾸어 놓았습니다. 아이들의 세계에서 건져올린 놀잇감들을 하나씩 그리면서 혼란스러운 장면들 속에 숨어 있는 사랑스런 모습들을 발견하게 되었습니다. 이 작업 또한 나에게 꼭 필요한 과정이었을지 모릅니다. 책에는 100여개의 손으로 그린 그림들이 담겨 있습니다. 혹시나 소재를 찾아 오랫동안 서성이고 있는 창작자가 있다면 이 책을 통해 나의 경험을 공유하고 싶습니다.


Observing the objects closest to me, I decided to draw them. Among them, toys were items I never had before I became a parent. These small items completely transformed my space and lifestyle. As I sketched each toy plucked from the world of children, I discovered endearing moments hidden within chaotic scenes. I'm not sure if this process was necessary, but it became an essential part of me. The book contains over a hundred drawings created by hand. If there are creators out there searching for inspiration, I'd like to share my experience through this book.
