서울을 기반으로 출판과 디지털 매체를 넘나들며
그림책, 인쇄물, 디지털 비주얼, 클라이언트 프로젝트 등 다양한 작업을 진행하고 있습니다.

Based in Seoul, she works across publishing and digital media, creating picture books, printed matter, digital visuals, and client projects.


산업디자인과 제품디자인 분야에서의 경험을 바탕으로
이미지뿐 아니라 구조와 물성, 결과물의 경험까지 함께 고민하며 작업합니다. 
출판, 일러스트레이션, 비주얼 스토리텔링 기반의 다양한 협업에도 관심을 두고 있습니다.

산책을 준비하던 검정 고양이가 구멍 난 양말을 발견하고, 직접
수선하는 과정을 그린 미니툰입니다. 작은 바늘과 실로 천을 되살리는
'비저블 멘딩(Visible mending)' 기법을 중심으로, 손바느질의 흐름을
쉽고 친절하게 소개하는 실용서입니다.

					
내용은 간단하지만, 구멍 난 것을 버리지 않고 고쳐 쓰는 마음과 손의
움직임에 집중하며, 천천히 수선하는 시간이 줄 수 있는 위로를
담았습니다. 전체는80×80mm 크기의 미니북으로 제작되어, 손 안에
쏙 들어오는 크기 안에 다정한 리듬과 작은 실천을 담아냈습니다.

					
손바느질을 처음 접하는 분, 수선을 두려워하는 분도 재미있게 보고
따라할 수 있게 하는 안내하는 책입니다.

				
Visible Mending: A Mini Comic


This small book tells the story of a black cat who finds a hole in their sock while getting ready for a walk. Instead of throwing the sock away, the cat chooses to repair it using a needle and thread. The book introduces the technique of visible mending in a simple and friendly way.


The story focuses on the quiet time spent sewing, and the comfort that can come from fixing something with care. It shares the idea that mending is not just useful, but also meaningful.


The book is 80×80mm in size, small enough to fit in your hand. Inside, it offers gentle instructions and illustrations that make it easy to follow. Even beginners, or those who feel unsure about sewing, can enjoy and learn from this guide.

Format: 180 x 260 (mm)아이들과 함께한 23일간의 호주 여행에서 가장 자주 머문 곳은 바로 놀이터였습니다. 다양한 놀이터에서 아이들이 뛰놀고, 오르고, 내리고, 만들고, 달리며 도전했던 순간들에서 영감을 얻어, 그 장면들을 그림으로 재구성했습니다. 이렇게 완성된 생동감 넘치는 이야기들을 하나의 일러스트레이션 ZINE으로 만들어 전달하고자합니다.

During our 23-day trip to Australia with my children, the place we visited most often was playgrounds. Inspired by the moments of children playing, climbing, sliding, building, running, and challenging themselves in various playgrounds, I recreated those scenes through illustrations. These vibrant and lively stories have been compiled into an illustrated zine, crafted to share these memories with you.

그림책 〈WE PLAY!〉는 아침에 일어나서 잠에 들기 전까지 두 아이가 놀이를 하는 그림으로 이루어져 있습니다.
세상의 모든 것이 처음인 아이들의 호기심으로 부터 출발한 여러가지 놀이들은 이미 어른인 채로 오랜 시간을 보낸 작가에게 까마득히 먼 어린 시절 기억을 던져주기도 하고, 길에서 만난 작은 것들을 소재로 기발하고 엉뚱한 이야기를 만들어가는 과정에 기꺼이 참여 시켜 주기도 했습니다. 그렇게 재료가 된 아이들의 놀이들은 귀엽고 다채로운 색감의 그림들로 재탄생했습니다. 이 책을 통해 어린 아이들과 함께 대화를 나누며 놀이의 세계에 빠져 보아도 좋고, 작가가 3년여간 아이들 놀이의 참여자 혹은 관찰자의 입장에서 그린 육아 기록물로써 감상해봐도 좋을 것 같습니다.
The picture book "WE PLAY!" is composed of scenes where two children play from morning until they fall asleep at night. Various plays, stemming from the curiosity of children encountering everything for the first time, not only evoke distant childhood memories for the author, who has long been an adult, but also gladly engage in the process of creating imaginative and whimsical stories based on encounters with small things found along the way. The children's plays, thus used as material, have been reborn as cute and colorful illustrations. Through this book, you can engage in conversations with children and immerse yourself in the world of play, or you can enjoy it as a parenting narrative recorded by the author's three years of observing and participating in children's play.
